Design Code Public Engagement Questionnaire

Introduction

Example District Council is producing a Design Code for the District and is starting off by asking the community what it should contain and what it should say. The aim of the Code is to improve the design quality of new development in the District.

Since 2023, Local Planning Authorities have been required by Central Government to produce a Design Code. The Code will help set out what Example District's design expectations are for new development.

We are seeking the views of local people, communities, industry and other relevant organisations to help shape the Design Code.
