After years of commuting to nearby towns, I can confidently say that our village’s lack of adequate facilities must be addressed. The proposal to expand our community resources is a wise move toward a stronger, more sustainable village life. Libraries, leisure centres, and local employment not only provide necessary services but also foster a sense of belonging among residents. Having these amenities within reach demolishes the barriers that separate us from truly connecting with our neighbours and our community. If we want to combat isolation, we must first provide the engagement tools necessary for people to come together. This plan can turn our village into a hub of activity and connection.
