I cannot help but feel that the Local Plan as proposed lacks a comprehensive view of the community’s needs. My family has lived here for generations, and the influx of new developments without corresponding community facilities or services will only lead to dissatisfaction among residents. Where are the plans for schools, recreation facilities, and health services to cater to the anticipated growth? Simply building homes without infrastructure will place undue pressure on the existing services, leading to a deterioration of quality in care and community life. We must demand a more integrated development plan that involves proper planning for the sake of future residents. I implore the council to review the associated infrastructure developments alongside this housing plan.
