While changes in our environment can be appealing, I worry that this proposal fails to engage adequately with community feedback historically. There is a pattern of discussions without the intended follow-through on local opinions, which leaves residents feeling unheard. Current amendments seem to originate from executive decisions rather than an organic discussion with the community. Revising the proposal to take greater stock of past feedback would facilitate trust and attachment to the development process. A true partnership with the community should be our foremost priority.
