I must express my strong disapproval of the proposed changes to Example District as they seem to prioritise development over the well-being of our residents. As someone who has lived here for over thirty years, I have seen first-hand how vital the Green Belt is to our community, providing not only a natural habitat for countless species but an essential resource for leisure and mental well-being. By encroaching upon this land, we risk losing touch with nature amidst our hectic lives. Furthermore, the proposed infrastructure improvements feel more like afterthoughts than genuine solutions to the existing transportation problems, which, believe me, are far worse than what the proposal acknowledges. We need a plan that enhances our community while preserving our cherished pastures, not one that threatens them.
