Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The council's neglect of available brownfield sites for residential use is criticized for prioritising business interests over community needs. The proposed plan lacks a balanced approach and calls for creativity in supporting both developments.

Testun llawn:

It is simply unacceptable that the council is not moving forward with developing brownfield sites available for housing, especially when so many families desperately need homes. The current strategy, which prioritises business interests over residential needs, flips the purpose of town planning on its head. Furthermore, the assertion that existing businesses cannot be relocated or supported elsewhere fails to consider the potential adaptability of those enterprises. With creativity and collaboration, the council should be able to devise a plan that supports both residential and business needs without sacrificing one for the other. By entirely dismissing the available brownfield options, the council risks exacerbating the already pressing housing shortage in the district and overlooking the plight of many residents. We ought to push for a more balanced approach that is inclusive of both economic and residential developments, rather than prioritising one at the expense of the other.
