I believe Policy H4 requires a complete rewrite as it does not align with national housing policies or the 2018 Local Plan. It inadequately addresses self-build and custom housing needs, which are essential for local residents, and overlooks the district’s infrastructure limitations. Additionally, Policy H3 should specify the number of custom build sites, recognising that the current allocation of 50 sites is unsupported by local transport links and green spaces. A clear connection between site allocations and overarching policies on infrastructure and environmental considerations is necessary.
