I support Policy DM8.2, particularly its focus on conserving and enhancing priority habitats and species through the Local Nature Recovery Strategy. I welcome the inclusion of green infrastructure and the aim to develop the South Essex Estuary Park, blue corridors, and waterfront destinations. I agree that greening urban areas, including green roofs, can mitigate climate change effects. Linking green spaces via corridors will benefit wildlife, promote biodiversity, and improve ecological connectivity across Southend.
