I understand that a land availability assessment (LAA) is an evidence document to support Local Plan preparation, demonstrating sufficient sites for housing and economic development. This study, replacing the 2017 assessment, provides a comprehensive evaluation of land for housing and employment in Cheshire West and Chester. It aims to identify suitable, achievable sites, examining windfall housing and capacity, and informing plan-making and planning policy. The process ensures all land is assessed together for a robust evidence base and proper site allocation.
