I believe Policy H4 needs a complete rewrite as it does not align with the national policy on meeting all housing needs and falls short of the standards set by the 2018 Local Plan. The plan's provisions for self-build and custom housing are currently inadequate and will not satisfy local residents’ needs. Additionally, the district’s infrastructure appears insufficient to support these housing plans, highlighting the need for a more comprehensive and realistic approach.

We agree, the policy will be rewritten to take better account of National Policy.
