I believe Policy H4 needs a complete rewrite. It doesn’t align with national housing needs policies or the council’s 2018 Local Plan standards. The current approach lacks sufficient detail on self-build and custom housing, leaving local needs unmet. Additionally, the district’s infrastructure won’t support these plans as they stand.

Thanks for your considered points. We will make changes to policy H4 to better align with national policy as suggested.
